Charles was at the front desk when we arrived and throughout our stay, and he was attentive and gave us excellent restaurant suggestions. The service really stood out. We also loved the spacious room, with its separate tub and shower, and it was cleaned promptly each day with fresh bottled water supplied. The location was convenient for restaurants and tram stops. My husband and I loved the hotel.
The room was comfortable and unusually large for a European hotel, though the decor felt a little dated. I wasn't used to having the toilet in its own separate room, so that took some adjustment. Staff were superb, friendly and helpful, and transit nearby made it easy to reach the places I wanted to visit.
The neighborhood has a relaxed, lively feel, with young people out late and lots of cafes, restaurants and shops nearby. I really liked the atmosphere around the hotel, and the staff were very friendly. There's also a nice view from the gym on the eighth floor. You do need to take a metro or tram from Brussels Central Station to get here, but I'm glad I chose this hotel.
The breakfast was the one thing I wouldn't bother with: the choices were limited and it didn't seem worth the price. Otherwise, the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, and our room was a great size and spotlessly clean. There are cafes, restaurants and shops right nearby in a lovely part of town. The centre is a short tram ride away and also very walkable. I'd stay again.
There are several good bars about five minutes away. At the hotel, the entrance felt welcoming, reception staff were pleasant and helpful, and the rooms were good and serviced daily. The shower was great, and both the mattress and pillows were very good.
