Guest House Atomium Bruxelles

The owner was really polite, and it was easy to reach her through booking. Our room was spacious, with a big comfortable bed. The bathroom is shared, but it’s incredibly clean and convenient. The neighborhood is calm and pleasant, with lots of shops nearby and metro, bus, and tram stops close at hand. We enjoyed staying here.

I spent five nights here. The bed was spacious and clean, but the stairs and hallway smelled musty. What bothered me most was hearing the staff member and girlfriend making sexual sounds. It was disgusting, and I could hear everything from my room.

Planning and budgeting ahead are essential for a safe, stress-free trip, so it’s unacceptable when a provider backs out of a confirmed booking simply because they no longer feel like honoring it. Four months after confirming my reservation, the hotel sent a very unprofessional email saying they could no longer accommodate me and that I had to cancel. They gave no explanation. They were still selling rooms online for the dates I’d booked, too. Be aware that you may or may not have somewhere to stay when your trip comes around, and they’ll be rude about it.

It’s a decent, clean place, and the owner is very nice. The 93 tram and 6 metro are nearby, and most importantly, it’s quiet. The bed wasn’t comfortable, though. You get what you pay for.
