Maison Flagey Brussels

Vincent made us feel so welcome, and the place had lovely energy and beautiful decor. I was lucky to stay here while travelling around Europe with my family. Our room was immaculate, with views over the gardens and mosaic. The living area was full of beauty, and I even got to play the piano there. Vincent always has stories about the building, and he told us about the piano's history with real enthusiasm. He did the same with much of the house, where every object seemed to have its own significance and rich past. This is a beautiful, magical place, and I highly recommend staying here. We stayed two nights in the green room at Maison Flagey Brussels with our one-year-old daughter. The elevator was out of order, which already made things difficult. We agreed on a total price of €380 and paid it in full, but another €190 was taken from our account without explanation or authorization. I've contacted Vincent several times to try to sort this out, but he hasn't responded or refunded the money. If it was a mistake, I'd have expected at least a basic explanation. The silence leaves me with serious concerns, and I find myself wondering whether this was intentional or fraud. I wish I didn't have to write this, but I now feel compelled to go to the police. Guests should be warned. Given what happened, I can't recommend this place.

The hotel's service was warm and welcoming, and breakfast is available there too. They organize a music concert in the building every month, and we happened to be there for one. Guests can join in if they want. The hotel itself is beautiful, with historic Art Nouveau architecture. Its neighborhood is quiet and lovely, with a park right next door where people jog and relax. I highly recommend a stroll around the pond. Tram and bus connections are close by.

The room was spacious and lovely to look at, and the park with its pond and ducks is right across the way. Designed by Art Nouveau architect Victor Horta, this incredible place has been lovingly restored as a bed and breakfast. I can't recommend it enough.
