Manoir Du Prince

At Manoir Du Prince, I felt at home as a solo adventurer, and the owner made me feel welcome each time I returned. On arrival, I was greeted and offered coffee or tea before being shown to my room. It had elaborate Royal Blue Decor, a hanging chandelier, and a balcony overlooking the courtyard. The whole design felt brilliant, like living among an elegant royal family in the 19th century. The owner served breakfast himself each morning on a grand platter: an omelette, several juices, bread, desert yogurt, and assorted jams. I really appreciated the hospitality.

The food was great, and the woman who looked after our table was very nice. The decor put me off a little at first, but I was glad I came.

The food was great, though I found it a little pricey, and I didn't like the burgers. The staff were very pleasant. There's even a smoking area where you can eat while still being indoors. My issue was that the menu wasn't available in English.

The service was great, and the meals were all high quality, from the couscous and pastilla to the tea. The quality for the price was great too. Waiting time could be improved, though I had time, so it wasn't a problem for me. For me, four stars make more sense than five. I'm a businessman, and I treat stars as something sacred: if I give five, there's no room to do better. I don't think any place can have customer service, food quality, value, and waiting time all at their maximum. The ladies who served me were lovely, and bravo to everyone behind the scenes at 1001nuits for making the visit such a great experience. A wonderful Moroccan restaurant in the heart of Brussels. If you want a meal that feels like an escape into oriental charm, 1001nuits is the place. Visit as often as you like!
