Mix Brussels --Gym & Wellness for adults only--

We had a pleasant stay as a couple, and the hotel was especially enjoyable on sunny days, with lovely green areas around it. We chose it largely for the wellness facilities, and the large gym, sauna, hammam, pool, and other amenities were a real plus for us. We care about looking after both mind and body. A few things could be better. At check-in, they blocked a €200 credit card deposit and said it might take up to two months to refund. We travel quite often and hadn't come across such a long timeline before. The reception interaction also felt a bit robotic and brief. The shower pressure was slightly weak. On our second day there was an unpleasant smell in the room; we don't know what caused it, but told reception at checkout. The room could have been cleaner too. Even with those issues, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the hotel's distinctive atmosphere and focus on wellness.

The spa and wellness area was a real highlight for us. It was well kept, and we enjoyed using it. But the way our birthday arrangement was handled left a bad taste. I had asked reception two weeks ahead to put a welcome drink and card in the room for my partner, and neither was there when we arrived. I raised it at reception and called as well, but heard nothing until the day we were leaving. By then, the only offer was a €40 bottle of champagne sent to the room, which was too late to matter. Nobody apologized or explained what had gone wrong. Errors happen, but the lack of follow-up and care affected our stay.

I've had my Mix membership for a year now, and it's been soo good so far! The Wellness area is incredible. I love having a place like that here in Brussels. My favorite group classes are Shape & Glow, Soft Boxing and Burn bootylicious! After a few months of working out, I could really see the results 🍑

The place presents itself as a “members’ community,” but my experience was very different. I joined and found poor hygiene in the changing rooms and wet areas, equipment often out of order, little staff involvement, almost no service, and no obvious management around. The location is good and the facilities look decent at first, but that doesn't make up for it. For nearly two months the app didn't work, so I couldn't book classes. There was no apology, explanation or compensation. Parking for members is so limited that it's often unavailable, and you have to park somewhere else. I contacted the management team and the founder directly and got only a generic reply signed “the management team,” which says plenty. The standard is far below comparable European and international venues. It feels like the establishment exists more in its marketing than in reality. There are much better options in the city, and I can't recommend it. I feel members are being misled.
