Hotel Prince de Liege

We only wanted a hamburger to take away, so we tried ordering by phone, but they wouldn’t take the order that way and made us come into the store. Once we got there, the owner clearly recognized us from the call and knew what we wanted. He rushed through the order, then left us waiting 15-20 minutes in the restaurant. When the food was ready, I tried to check whether the sauce was packed and ask if everything was there, but he kept interrupting and waving me away. The bag was stapled shut, so I couldn’t quickly check it, and I eventually took his word for it. At home, the included salad was missing, as were the sauces he’d said were in the bag. The burger itself was okay, but it only had wilted lettuce in it. The service was rude and dismissive. Don’t waste your time here, and believe the bad reviews.

I ate here with my kids, and the owner was really rude. He doesn’t seem to know how to speak to customers. The lamb chops were dry and so hard we couldn’t chew them. When I complained, he said he couldn’t do anything. While we were eating the other food, he watched us from around the corner and didn’t move. I completely wasted my money and won’t eat here again.

My wife and I agreed this was the best steak house in Brussels we’d been to so far. The service was excellent, friendly, caring, and simply incredible. The Irish ribeye was incredible too, beautifully seasoned and grilled to perfection. Thank you so much. Iggi :)

I’ve traveled all over the world and wish I’d found this place sooner. The service was impressive, and it’s the best steak house ever. I’ll definitely come back!
