Odette en Ville is best suited to a special night out, like a birthday, anniversary, or business dinner where the setting helps carry the occasion. The dining room, with its dramatic black interior and carefully done noir look, sets a strong mood without feeling overdone. The food is good and feels worthy of the prices, which isn't always the case at this level. Service is precise and clearly comes from excellent training more than natural warmth. Everyone knows their job, and that quiet efficiency makes you feel looked after without making the experience feel mechanical. The restaurant knows what it is and delivers that experience fully. It's the sort of place that reminds me why restaurants at this level exist.

A lovely night out for couples. Start with a cocktail in the library lounge, then have dinner in the beautiful dining room overlooking the kitchens. It's always a pleasure to spend time in this intimate, luxurious, romantic place.

This is my favorite Brussels restaurant. The setting and atmosphere are perfect, and the food is excellent for a price that feels reasonable for it. Service is very efficient too.

We had a lovely time at Odette en ville last weekend. The food's quality and taste were exquisite. We'll come back to try more of the menu.

The service was excellent, including at the bar, and dessert was good, but the main dish let me down. I ordered their kind of signature tataki-style meat and it was full of sinew or nerves, so it was hard to chew. The fries were thin, more like chips than Belgian fries. Apparently they used to serve thick ones, and in Belgium I think a good restaurant shouldn't miss out on proper fries. Maybe they were tired just before their holiday. Either way, there are better options in Brussels if you're looking for good meat. The good service is why I'm giving three stars instead of two.
