The area around Hotel Tiefenbach is lovely for walks and bike rides, and the wellness facilities made for a comfortable, relaxing stay. The indoor pool, sauna, and steam bath were highlights. Rooms are spacious and traditionally decorated, with large bathrooms and modern showers. Everything was exceptionally clean, and the friendly, multilingual staff were always ready to help. We chose half pension, which came with a four-course dinner. It was decent as long as you don't expect fine dining. At check-in, they give you the menu for that day, with two options for each course. Book your dinner time in advance, as the hotel keeps to the schedule and may call to remind you if you're late. Minibar prices are on the high side, as you'd expect in most hotels. For American travelers, the rooms don't have air conditioning, in keeping with Northern European standards. It wasn't a problem during my stay, but the season could make a difference.

Dinner was delicious, with everything cooked right and all the produce fresh. Breakfast was also very good, with plenty of variety. The rooms were spotless and the beds comfortable, and the pool and wellness area were in great shape. Really friendly, courteous service. The hotel's quality and service deserve an A+.

The rooms felt cozy, and the staff were friendly. I especially liked the clean, inviting pool, a great spot to lounge. Tiefenbach was just right for a relaxing escape. Highly recommend!

The hotel was great during covid. The scenery around it was beautiful, and both the pool and sauna were very nice. The food has been great so far, delivered warm right to the room.

A comfortable place for a short motorbike break, with clean, good rooms and solid facilities. Breakfast was really good, and dinner too. Staff speak German, Dutch, and French. One small thing bothered me: you have to pay for water with your wine at dinner, which doesn't feel in keeping with the staff's hospitality.
