The view from our room was beautiful. Bruno at reception was friendly and helpful when we needed a handicap accessible bathroom, and all the male receptionists were absolutely awesome and helpful. The toilet seat was at the right height, but grab bars would help people with disabilities support themselves. The shower isn’t wheelchair accessible: there’s a step to get in, and no bars to hold onto inside.

We didn’t even stay one night, despite having booked four nights. The service was poor, and the room was more disappointing still. As a first-time visitor to Belgium looking for somewhere to stay, I found this place extremely disappointing. Don’t be fooled by its photos and reviews. If you’re visiting the area, I’d look elsewhere first.

It felt uncomfortable around the property, with a lot of strange people in and around it. The rooms were in very poor shape, old, cold, and clearly not maintained properly. The electric heater didn’t work. A very bad experience overall, and I strongly wouldn’t recommend it.

The lights didn’t work, and neither did the heating. There was a small fan heater, but it couldn’t make up for a proper heating system. The rooms were outdated too. Still, I could have overlooked all of that if the blonde, plump woman at reception had acted as she should have. She seemed like a young lady who was quite unhappy with her job. I don’t recommend this place, even for one night like the one I stayed.

They turned me away when I got there on December 27, 2025 at 11:30 PM, and gave no reason. The treatment was bad. I’m never going back, and I’d advise everyone to stay away. It was the worst day of my life.
