Chambres d'hôtes des Ardennes

Edith was easy to reach and helpful during our family stay in the family room. The children had fun in the playroom, and although the bathroom was shared, it was very clean. Breakfast was generous, as was the packed lunch. We thought it was good value, and there are marked walking routes nearby.

The room itself was clean and lovely, and we were welcomed very warmly. Breakfast was decent too. The problem was its position downstairs at the back of the games room: people playing foosball only three metres from the door made it impossible to sleep. The bathroom was quite nice and close by, but getting to it meant walking through the games room, which wasn't convenient while people were playing.

We chose this beautifully restored and decorated old building for Christmas Eve and would happily return. The owner was charming and friendly, and suggested plenty of walks. The village has Ardennes charm, very little traffic, and the place was easy to find. Breakfast came with a generous spread at a big communal table, which made for a convivial start. There's also a games room with foosball and a pool table, plus a wood-burning stove. We highly recommend it.

A handy base for seeing the region, with a warm welcome when we arrived. The kitchen, bathroom, and living space are shared, and there's a games room as well.
