We had lunch here for 11 people, including five children under seven, for a special birthday, and it went perfectly. I arranged it by email from abroad, so I was keeping my fingers crossed, but it was a great choice. Benoit and the staff were lovely, efficient, and helpful, and they even made birthday cakes for us. The food was tasty, and the cakes were super. It’s a relaxed, informal place, close to the beach, with plenty of free parking. There was something on the menu for everyone. Thank you, Benoit and staff.

A clean, welcoming place with friendly, helpful staff and very good food and service. After a long beach walk, pancakes and coffee made for a great start to the day.

We came for breakfast, and the food was really average. What bothered us most was the service. The staff spoke to us with an attitude and seemed like they didn’t enjoy their jobs. I wouldn’t recommend it because it didn’t feel welcoming, not because of the food.

I came here for breakfast while on vacation and had a Yo-beery and coffee, both really tasty. There are menus in several languages, so everyone can find something. The staff were kind and friendly, checking several times that everything was okay. I was there too early in the morning to try the waffles, sadly.

The location is central, just a short walk from the beach and the main parts of town. It gets reasonably busy during the day but is quiet at night. The apartment was spacious and comfortable, and housekeeping was available when needed. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, and the beds and pillows were comfortable too. Breakfast at the Bakery downstairs was really good, with excellent staff. Hope to stay again on our next trip to De Haan.
