The location is ideal, a short walk from the beach but tucked into a quiet area, with tables and chairs outside for relaxing. The rooms are great and plenty big enough, though ours had a bit too much furniture and felt crowded when we had our bags out. It could be easier to move around. We liked having a fridge and small kitchenette. The staff were welcoming and nice, though they could have been a bit friendlier. Breakfast was absolutely fantastic. Great price, and we were very pleased we stayed. I'd highly recommend it.

The owners and staff were extremely friendly and clearly dedicated to our wellbeing. The house is lovely, and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. The bed was a little soft for me, though my husband liked it. Because of the Covid restrictions, breakfast came on a tray instead of being a buffet. It was tasty, though naturally less varied. Fresh orange juice would have earned the fifth star. The coffee corner is a great idea. We'd definitely stay there again if we return to De Haan.

Bon acceuil gave us a warm welcome. It’s a true family hôtel, on a calm street but just 100 meters from the tram, restaurants, and shops, and a five-minute walk from the seafront. De Haan is a lovely place to visit the Belgian coast without the high buildings. Breakfast was delicious and huge, and the morning sun in the breakfast area was the icing on the cake.
