Res. Christophe

Wenduine is small and quiet, and it’s easy to catch a tram to the other beach resorts. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable, though the toilet was placed oddly in a bathroom that had plenty of space. Breakfast was good. The advertised free parking was apparently always full, so we rented a garage box from the hotel for €15 a night. They really shouldn’t advertise free parking on booking.com.

The owners made us feel like we were visiting family, and the Art Deco and Art Nouveau hotel was even better than its description. Our room was warm during our visit in the first days of March, and there’s a lovely little corner by the bar where you can enjoy a drink. Breakfast was excellent. Everything was perfect. Thank you for your hospitality.

We really enjoyed our stay, and the staff were so friendly, warm and attentive that we felt welcome and valued. The building is charming and beautiful, but it clearly needs maintenance and upgrades. The interior feels dated throughout, and the rooms could use smarter solutions. I hope the owners make upkeep a priority before next season, both to preserve the charm and for peace of mind. We did wonder whether the balcony was safe.

We stayed for four nights. The room was quiet and clean, and breakfast was good. The staff were very friendly and shared some tips about the surrounding area.
