Romantik Manoir Carpe Diem

Everyone was consistently friendly and helpful, and pretty much all the staff spoke multiple languages. The hotel is in a lovely residential area, about a 10 minute walk from the centre. Our welcome included a nice tour of the hotel. We had a good standard room overlooking the garden, and enjoyed the cosy lounge and bar, especially the honesty system for drinks. Breakfast was good too. The weather was really poor, unfortunately, so we couldn't use the outdoor pool or garden. We had a fantastic two nights here.

The neighbourhood felt like a film set, with every house looking pretty and neat. My mother and I had a lovely little getaway at the Romantik Hotel. Everyone made us feel so welcome, and the whole place showed a lot of care and love for detail. We liked our room, slept well, and enjoyed the breakfast. I'd come back anytime! :)

Patrick took me on a very attentive one minute personalized “cab ride” so I wouldn't miss the forest path towards Wenduine on my morning jog. At breakfast, Claudine surprised my wife with a little fireworks fountain on her birthday muffin. Those small touches show how pampered you feel here, and that no effort is too much for the hosts. We couldn't have picked a better hotel for our newborn son's first hotel stay at three weeks old, or for my wife's birthday. Right from the welcome, the warmth from Claudine, Patrick, and all the staff was clear. We had a refreshing night in the loft, in a very comfortable and extremely quiet room. Breakfast was plentiful and fresh. If we hadn't had to check out at 11am, we'd probably still be sitting there. The hotel is in a very quiet area, within walking distance of the beach. We could easily stroll with the baby carriage through the quiet streets and admire the Belle Epoque villas. Fantastic experience. We'll definitely return!

An elegant manor hotel, with rooms furnished to a high standard. It's well located, and the service was excellent. Highly recommend.
