We needed vegan and gluten-free breakfast, and they were happy to provide it. One item turned out to be vegetarian, though a more specific question from us could have avoided that, so ask them in advance. The family suite was clean and cozy, with two separate bedrooms, a guest toilet and a main bathroom. The view from the window was fantastic. It’s a perfect hotel for a short family trip, even with older kids.

We stayed in November 2022, drawn by the lovely exterior and good price. We skipped breakfast, so I can’t comment on it. The common areas had nice fall decorations, and both check-in and checkout went smoothly. We called to say we’d be late, rang the red button at reception when we arrived, and someone came right away to help. The room was spacious for two and very clean. The heaters worked, the bathroom was clean, and the towels smelled good, though the beds could have been more comfortable. I missed having a mat by the shower, the hair dryer didn’t work, one light wouldn’t turn off, and the steps in the room felt a little unsafe. At night, we heard thumping music from somewhere for a long time and had trouble falling asleep. Maybe it was a one-off, but the windows and walls don’t block sound very well. Parking is on the street, so a space may or may not be available depending on the time. There are nearby streets where you can park too. For what we paid, it was good value.

It was clean and quiet, and worth the price. The bed could have been better.

Booking.com doesn’t make it clear that this is a holiday care center, so don’t be surprised if you come across senior residents.
