The complex is pleasant, and we’ve been coming here for five years through a private landlord. We tried to book with the real estate agency Agence Rembrandt, but they never replied. No service at all. The pool and recreation facilities are a little dated, but still fine. Don’t come expecting luxury. It takes less than a 10-minute drive to get to the sea through the dunes. Check the tides and download the app if you want to enjoy the wide beach. There are plenty of places to shop, but prices are definitely not cheap. Groceries and eating out both cost a lot. The restaurant on the Duinendaele grounds is okay, though overpriced for the quality. Drive into the town center, or try the nearby villages for delicious food. We’ve already booked for next year.

This is our fifth visit, and it’s the same as ever: friendly people, good service, and a peaceful stay. Our dog is welcome everywhere too. What more do you need for a week away?
