The owners were both professional and very kind. We had a fantastic experience.

Breakfast was excellent, and I liked the concept, even though the church itself is a bit faded and not especially magnificent. The rooms could use more cleaning, as there were cobwebs and such, but given that it's a church, it was still okay. There isn't any sound insulation, so you hear everything. That could make a good night's sleep difficult with a larger group or a family with children. A nice experience for a one-time stay!

We had a singing weekend at the Bartholomeus and it was a wonderful experience. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook, and the stew we'd brought tasted even better with chips from the shop within walking distance. Breakfast was delivered on-site, so we could just roll out of bed before rehearsing together under the heat lamps. Truly perfect, highly recommended!
