The breakfast was delicious, and wine lovers will appreciate the wine shop. We had a wonderful stay in this charming farmhouse, with everything we could have wanted.

We went to a wedding last weekend and had a 1 hour and 40 minute drive to the B&B. When booking directly with them, not through Booking.com, I wrote in the comments that we’d arrive late, around 8:00 PM. They assured me we could check in until 9:00 PM, and their confirmation email said the reservation was OK, so I felt reassured. But when we got there at 8:00 PM, nobody was there. For 20 minutes we rang the doorbell, including the private one, and tried calling, but couldn’t reach anyone. We waited in the rain, then loaded our suitcases back into the car. There was nowhere nearby we could find to sleep, so we had to drive the 1 hour and 40 minutes back home. We emailed that evening. A day and a half later, there was still no reply. I understand that things can go wrong, but not hearing anything at all, with no callback or response to the email, is scandalous.

Our room was tidied and cleaned EVERY day, more thoroughly than I’ve experienced in hotels. We were especially surprised by that kind of room service at a B&B. The owners were extremely friendly and caring, and communication in English and even German was very good. The property is beautifully situated, with a tasteful, well-kept garden and grounds. Breakfast was excellent, with lots to choose from, and they took individual requests very seriously. There’s free Wi-Fi and plenty of private parking. I can 100% recommend staying here!

A lovely room, excellent service, and a delicious breakfast. Thanks to the owners for making our stay perfect. This secluded, authentic gem is also not far from the sights of Bijgaarden.
