We had such a relaxing family stay here in 2011. The place has wonderful architecture and history, and Spontin is just around the corner with a great playground for the kids. Dinant is close enough to enjoy its lively atmosphere, though you’ll need a car. We’d love to come back one day.

We spent three weeks here on vacation a few years back, and the big garden was especially nice. The rest was very pleasant too. Just be aware that the stairs up to the bedrooms are a little steep.

The location worked well for visiting Brussels, Waterloo, and nearby places. It’s a bit far out if you want to head to the Ardennes, and the Netherlands is also a long way for a day trip. I stayed for 10 days; the rooms were average, and the accommodation could use quite a bit of improvement. There were too many cobwebs around. The bathroom was small, but functional.

Very quiet at night, and the place was really neat. There are two bedrooms, with one double bed and four single beds. It has a big garden too. The interior was okay, though a little outdated.

The place is very old, and there’s an unpleasant smell everywhere. I can’t understand how anyone could live there, let alone pay for this kind of service!
