The kids loved the toys and trampoline, and the staff were really friendly. We were right by the Ourthe, and the restaurant was cozy, with good food and entertainment. The facilities are fairly basic, though they were cleaned daily. We’d happily come back.

I can see the appeal, but it was a mediocre stay for me. The tiny house hadn’t been cleaned properly before we arrived, and it was right beside the restaurant and its lively terrace. That may be considered one of the campground’s best spots, though there are also lovely places by the river. Saturday karaoke and other activities may suit some people, but the website should mention them so guests know what to expect. We were awake with a child until midnight.

This is a lovely family campsite if you want camping to feel like camping. The children all played together and people chatted, without animation teams or slides. The spacious pitches have electricity, and the site sits right beside the Ourthe. The owners are super friendly and always ready to help, and the bar-restaurant staff are lovely too. It’s close to the village, with a supermarket 10 minutes away on foot or 2 minutes by car. The sanitary facilities were clean and good, but very small, with just two showers per gender, which is why I rated the “rooms” four stars. Would I return? Yes, 200%.

We left after only two hours, luckily finding another campsite. The caravans were very old, and the problems inside included no tap at the sink, just a small hard button on the floor to press with your foot, no hot water or shower, and rotten, torn cushions on the couch-bed. The site is beside the river and has a nice mountain view, but the manager treated us badly when we asked questions or raised problems. She answered unkindly and didn’t take us seriously, even repeating our words in air quotes as if she didn’t believe us. When we said we expected more patience from a manager, she told us we could leave if we had a problem.
