Entre L'Eau

I booked this place through Airbnb, but a third party sent me elsewhere to make an account and pay a deposit. Two months on, we still haven’t got the money back. They say we broke the jacuzzi lid, which we didn’t. We kept getting passed from one person to another. Very disrespectful!

We paid a €750 deposit when we arrived and still haven’t got it back two months later. They’re claiming there was damage to the cottage, but there absolutely wasn’t. I can’t recommend this place.

The cottage was cozy, though that’s down to personal taste, and the forest setting was lovely. The jacuzzi was a plus too. But for the price, it wasn’t worth it: the furniture, patio, and outdoor mats were worn, the shower wouldn’t drain, and some switches were broken. The beds were hard, and there were too few bags, spoons, and other items, some of them broken.

The rooms were beautiful and clean, and the sauna and jacuzzi were the best parts. The house was in perfect shape, with plenty of cooking and eating utensils and somewhere to keep food and drinks cold. When we arrived, the friendly hostess had left us a nice bottle of cava, which felt like the start of the holiday. It really does deserve its very high TripAdvisor score. We’ll definitely be back!
