Hotel & Restaurant Maison Pal’Ange Durbuy

I’d paid in full, but three weeks before my stay I contacted the hotel to explain that unforeseen circumstances meant I couldn’t come. They turned down my request without offering even a partial refund or any explanation. After I missed the first night, they cancelled the room and kept all the money, which meant they could sell it again. It feels like taking advantage of people. The customer service was awful.

We ate at the restaurant one evening, and the food was delicious. During our long weekend at the beginning of October, the room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The owners were lovely and helpful. Kris welcomed us with a complimentary drink and explained what there was to do nearby. He also gave us his phone number in case we ran into any problems. My boyfriend and I had a great stay and would definitely recommend it :)

We felt at home as soon as we arrived. The hosts greeted us warmly and gave us plenty of information about nearby towns and attractions. Everything was super clean, which helped us feel safe during our weekend away with my husband during covid. The rooms are clean, breakfast is wonderful, and the hosts are incredibly friendly. It was just perfect, and we’d love to return in summer. Highly recommend.

We were in Belgium for the GP F1 and stayed at this memorable place in the countryside. The location was really good, and there was a great restaurant, especially for meat, as well as a bar and breakfast. A wonderful experience.
