De Basiliek

I often come here for business and have made de Baseliek my “home”. The people are naturally service minded, and the breakfast buffet is very good. The rooms are large, with pretty good beds, airco, and TV. When the weather’s nice, you can eat breakfast on the patio. There are several restaurants nearby. They’re mostly not fancy, aside from one, but the dinners are great. It’s easy to get here by car. I haven’t used Public Transport, though I’ve heard it’s easy to get into Antwerp.

No restaurant, and the fridge in the breakfast area was so loud that after 15 minutes I couldn’t take the noise anymore. Even the radio was drowned out by it. Otherwise, more or less everything was okay, and it was fine for one night.

The event was handled properly, and we didn’t run into any issues. Our room was very large and clean, with a really comfortable bed. The bedroom was stocked with plenty of tiles and soaps, and housekeeping did a good job. I’d return in the future.

The room was huge, very clean, and had comfortable beds. The staff were very friendly, and the location was perfect. During a heat wave it was impossible to sleep at first because there’s no air conditioning. But I opened the windows and curtains all the way on the third floor and slept like a baby. Surprisingly, there were no mosquitoes. Room rates are much lower than at other hotels in the region.
