A lovely gîte. I'd happily recommend it to anyone.

Really unpleasant experience. The owner was very bad about responding to customers' questions. She only wants two-day rentals, and longer stays aren't possible.

The only real drawback was the wolf dogs howling several times during the night. The owner isn't responsible for that, but when it's hot, having to keep the window closed makes it hard to sleep. The cottage itself was very clean and pleasant, the owners were caring and attentive to the people they welcome, and it's in a quiet location.

The owner was so kind and helpful, and we'll be back. We stayed in mid-September and loved it. The cottage was beautifully decorated, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Perfect, and thank you so much!

Just a note about the upstairs bedrooms: getting to them means using a fairly steep wooden staircase with no railing on the living room side. That could be difficult for elderly people. Otherwise, it's a very nice cottage and well appointed.
