The rooms were old, dirty, and smelled bad. The one good thing was the setting: lovely forest and a cozy playground for kids right in the middle of it. Staff told me that everything would be torn down in October 2019 and the local administration would build new cottages. I hope those turn out much better.

When our daughter was bitten by a tick that couldn’t be removed, we couldn’t get any information from staff about nearby doctors or first aid. There was no internet, Wi-Fi, or mobile signal, so we had to drive 15 minutes to get a signal, then search online and drive for hours more before a doctor removed the tick. The doctor wouldn’t prescribe preventive antibiotics. Our daughter ended up with Lyme disease and needed a full month of antibiotics instead of one large dose straight away. The apartment also flooded during a storm, with about an inch of water across the whole floor. Everything was dirty, they kept part of our deposit, and nobody replied when we asked why. This is a complex and area to avoid at all costs. Horrible, horrible, horrible.

The location is really nice, which makes the dirtiness such a shame. I paid the warranty a month ago, and was meant to get the money back after the electricity and water costs were deducted. I still haven’t heard anything.

Five days there was fine, but I wouldn’t want to stay longer than a week.
