Indrani Lodge

Breakfast was the standout for us, especially the granola, which was the best we've ever had. The food alone is worth making the trip for. We also loved unwinding in the peaceful garden and by the lovely indoor pool, and our room had a gorgeous tub and very comfortable beds. The service was outstanding. Guilloume made us feel so welcome, like old friends. Just remember it's an eco lodge without AC. The evenings cool off, though, and the fan they provide did the job. We had an incredibly lovely stay!

Philip, Jessica, and the rest of the team were wonderful hosts for our little getaway. The location is really convenient, close to both Brussels and Waterloo. You can tell the owners have put their hearts and souls into this project. It was a pleasure to be there, and the lodge is just right for a couple's getaway. I'd recommend it and can't wait to come back someday.

The restaurant was the highlight of our stay. The food was wonderful, the service was so kind, and breakfast is an absolute must if you get the chance. I was also amazed by how sustainable the place is. We got to see the chickens and alpacas, and they invited us to look around the greenhouse and garden. There’s a ceramics class, yoga, a library, and a hauntingly beautiful pool too. We stayed for three nights before moving on with our trip, and I really wish we could have stayed longer. From the minute we arrived, everyone was welcoming and kind. I only speak English and have severe anxiety, and while struggling through Europe, this became my favorite part of the trip. They did so much to accommodate our limited language skills, far beyond what I expected. It felt less like a hotel and more like visiting relatives who were thrilled to see us. You can tell they're proud of what they do, and they should be. Indrani is incredible. I can't recommend it enough, and I'll be talking about it for the rest of my life. I hope I get to return someday.

The restaurant really impressed us. About 75 percent of the ingredients in the dishes come from their own garden, and everything tasted fresh, vibrant, and delicious. The food and service deserve a star for what they create. Our room was cozy and inviting, with thoughtful furnishings and decoration that made us feel at home and pampered. The indoor pool was beautiful too. From the moment we arrived, the whole place felt memorable. Indrani Lodge exceeded our expectations, and we'd wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for quality and relaxation.
