I didn't feel valued as a customer, and this left me with a very poor impression of Hotel ECU. I paid online for a booking, then realized I'd picked the 20th by mistake when I meant to book the 19th. I contacted the hotel as soon as I noticed, explained it was an honest error, and even offered to pay an extra fee if needed. They refused to change the date because the booking was already fully paid, and said nothing could be done. There was no flexibility or attempt to find a solution, despite my contacting them in good faith. It felt as though customer support stopped mattering once the payment was complete. Understanding and flexibility are important in hospitality, and I hope they improve their customer service. Based on what happened to me, I'd advise others to be careful with prepaid reservations.

I booked a room with a cancellation policy, but after I asked to cancel because my children were ill, the hotel still charged my card. They charged all of my cards, not only the one used for the booking. Now their replies to my messages are complete nonsense. This feels like a total scam and pure fraud. Be careful dealing with these crooks!

The station is under a five-minute walk away, and there are plenty of good restaurants nearby. Shopping is just around the corner too. We had a really nice three-night stay.

It's a decent price for a night's sleep, as long as you don't expect anything fancy. The standard rooms are extremely small, with tiny beds, and there was lots of noise in the room. The Tesla destination chargers in the upper-deck parking lot don't work. They say the chargers aren't theirs, though they're mounted on the hotel wall.

We came over from Germany for a day trip and decided to stay, which turned out to be the best choice. The place is in a lovely local area, and the service was excellent, especially from Mr. Aymen. Our room was clean and big, with our own toilet and plenty of space. I can only recommend this hotel!
