Hotel Grupello

Evening meals take some planning, since the restaurant closes at 6pm and quite a few places in town seem to be shut. Breakfast was good, and the rooms were comfortable, not too hot or cold, with tea-making facilities, a bath, and plenty of towels and hangers. It's a great little hotel. Marriott and Holiday Inn could learn a thing or two.

We slept very peacefully in the comfy beds, and the room was quiet. The stairs are very steep, as we already knew, but that's how it is in Flanders and Holland. It's an amazing, cute hotel in a great location, with the most beautiful breakfast room. This was probably one of the best hotel breakfasts I've ever enjoyed.

Breakfast has the best selection of any hotel I've stayed in, and the restaurant on the premises serves excellent food and cold beer. I love this hotel and make a point of staying here whenever I visit Geraardsbergen. The staff are very friendly and speak English. Rooms are large, and the beds are really cozy. I usually bring my own pillow, but there's no need here, the memory foam pillows are extremely comfortable. If you're traveling to the area, Hotel Brasserie Grupello is a must-stay!

We travel a lot and work in the same business back in Norway, so we really appreciated how much effort, love, and care the owners put into this place. They and the staff were the nicest people, and we really recommend staying here. It was an amazing place to stay for Tour of Flanders 2023. Thanks for the extra service with our «special needs» after our accident!
