At Home

Laurence was helpful and easy to communicate with, and the setting is quiet and well located. We stayed in Chalet #9, where the humidity stayed very high even with the humidifier running the whole time, so the place needs better ventilation. The coffee maker didn't work, and there weren't any hooks for hanging things, especially in the shower.

The chalet is basic inside, and you need to bring quite a few things of your own, but we slept well and spent most of our time outdoors. The terrace was the best part: waking up to birdsong and the smell of the trees, then having breakfast in nature, was lovely. We could light it up and barbecue in the evening. It's generally peaceful, though you can sometimes hear people in neighboring chalets, so it's not fully secluded.

Ours was one of the less luxurious huts among the different options, but it was comfortable enough. It felt cosy, though it's basic and the rooms are small. The kind staff made the whole stay much more enjoyable.

We really enjoyed the hospitality and the place itself. It's a lovely area for beautiful walks, and a great spot for a relaxing weekend away.
