Adagio Access Gent Centrum Dampoort

We liked how modern the hotel felt, and the service was excellent. There’s direct access to the canal for walks, and the old town is just a short stroll away. Breakfast was plentiful, with good healthy options. The small kitchenette came in handy for making a snack or having coffee or tea after an outing, and a Carrefour supermarket is just five minutes away on foot. We also appreciated that rooms aren’t cleaned and linen isn’t changed every day, which we support for sustainability reasons.

The reception team were welcoming and ready to help, and the rooms were spacious, comfortable, and clean. There’s a good bar with some food, and paid parking is available. It’s well placed for exploring Gent, and I’d recommend it. Just remember to bring your own decaf pods for the in-room machine!

It’s a modern, minimal hotel near the station and about a 15-minute walk from the centre. The studio is well designed and has what you need to cook a meal. The shower was excellent, though the mattress was a bit soft for me. Breakfast was good but extremely busy, so timing your visit matters.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and I’d definitely return. The hotel is modern, centrally located, and close to buses, the train station, supermarkets, and decent places to eat. Our spacious studio apartment had a kitchenette with a microwave, small hob, utensils, and cutlery, which was really useful for us as tourists. There’s also a laundry machine guests can pay to use. Thanks to all the staff!
