There are several tram lines nearby, or it’s a pleasant 20-30 minute walk to the historic district. Gent-Sint-Pieters train station is just a few blocks away. Our large room was comfortable, freshly remodeled and had two large windows with a nice street view. The public areas were clean and newly remodeled too. Breakfast buffet was very good and a nice way to start the day.

Breakfast was nice, and the staff were friendly. The room was very new and clean, but the TV wall made it feel cramped, leaving half the room with a desk and two chairs that had no use. There’s no sink in the toilet, so you have to go to the shower to wash your hands. WHY!?!? In the morning, you can hear people slamming doors. It’s quite close to the station, and there are donkey bike parking spots just across the road. Pretty good, I liked it.

Don’t miss breakfast, it was fresh and delicious. Our room was super clean, spacious and had everything we needed for a weekend. It’s a clean, comfy hotel close to the train station, and I’d always come back!

The hotel is beautiful, and the check-in staff are very friendly. I often came by for their toogoodtogo package made from breakfast leftovers. There’s a wide variety at breakfast, and everything is equally delicious. For a city tour of Gent, it’s a bit far to walk to the city center, though the hotel is centrally located near the train station, with plenty of public transit options.

I was very satisfied with the friendly staff, good service, and beautiful, clean room. Parking around the hotel costs little, and I’d definitely recommend the hotel and return soon. I hope the elevator is back in operation by then, since it wasn’t working during this stay.
