We celebrated my birthday here for one night, and it was a lovely stay. The spacious room was clean, and I especially liked the bathroom. We slept really well. Dinner at the restaurant was good, though service was a bit slow. The atmosphere made up for that, and they even gave us Sint Nicolas candy. Breakfast was good too. Short stay, but a very pleasant one.

When I got to my room, the toilets hadn't been cleaned, and the shampoo and shower gel were empty. I asked for refills, but they told me to buy them at the register even though they were supposed to be free. Instead of helping directly, they told me to email room service. I don't recommend this hotel.

Fine for a night if you're passing through, but I wouldn't recommend staying longer. Breakfast was really nice, and the woman working there was friendly and professional. The young woman at the front desk, though, was the rudest receptionist I've ever encountered. She was rude when we arrived, then ignored us while we waited at the desk at checkout.

One of the worst Van der Valk Hotels I've stayed at. The light was broken, maintenance was poor, and the bathroom was dirty with mold. Not a good experience.

The staff were really nice, but the lower-level room we got was absolutely awful. It felt damp, the heating didn't work, and it took a good 30 minutes for hot water to come through the tap. There were mosquitoes everywhere, in the middle of December! We could hear everything the guests upstairs were doing, including what sounded like furniture being moved at 1am. We were just staying over on the way, but I definitely wouldn't recommend it.
