Bubble Lounge Hotel

The room, Crazy Vegas, was surprisingly tidy, and I never came across any of the damp or smell problems I’d read about. The pool warmth did heat the room a little, but with the pool door closed and a window open, it was comfortable. I also loved how much imagination the owners put into the decor. You wouldn’t guess there was a whole different world tucked away beside the road. The round bed was bigger and comfier than I expected, and the receptionist was relaxed and friendly. He even let us leave our motorcycle in his private shed, and breakfast was lovely and served with care. I didn’t mind the room being dark, though anyone who wants daylight in the morning or evening might prefer another one. The DVD and Chromecast setup was the one frustrating part. There were three remotes, and the sound remote worked at first, then switched itself off when we paused the movie. We couldn’t get it working again. Chromecast connected but froze, though that might have been down to my inexperience. I’d been a little nervous after reading such mixed reviews and comments about humidity, odors, and mushrooms, but didn’t notice any of those issues. Still hope to come back.
