The room was clean, and so was the bathroom, though they had forgotten to top up the hand soap. Breakfast was standard and there’s a pleasant little garden. But the heat made the stay miserable. There are no windows, just the main door for access to outside, and we had to sleep with the bedroom entrance wide open through a scorching night. The next morning, we were told they hadn’t thought it necessary to switch on the air conditioning during a week of hot weather. Leaving guests without it on hot nights shows a poor sense of hospitality.

The host was lovely and helpful, and the rooms were comfortable, clean, and attractive. Lots of small restaurants are an easy walk away, and getting a taxi was simple. We had a wonderful stay and would gladly recommend it.

I arrived feeling ill, and the host kindly had my room ready early. Really nice place, and I appreciated the help.

The owner was very kind, and the location is convenient, not far from the center of Dworp/Halle.
