Au Plaisir

We had a lovely time, and I’d say two nights is a good way to enjoy the place, the excellent breakfast, the local area, and the game. We played Colonel Mustard, which was fantastic. The house has a special atmosphere and unusual decor, and the concept is different in a fun way. Lily was welcoming, shared what we needed to know, and offered tips on things to do and places to eat nearby. Good things are meant to be shared, so don’t hesitate!

We really enjoyed the house’s atmosphere and the puzzle game in our room. The room was comfortable and nicely warm, and Lily greeted us so warmly. She’d suggested coming earlier to avoid the snow. Breakfast was local and prepared to order. The only small issue was the shower: the pressure was a little low and the temperature hard to adjust. It’s an inventive concept with hosts who clearly care, and we loved it.

The murder mystery party was the best part, if you book the whole place. We loved figuring out how Mr. Megret met his end. It’s a fantastic spot, and the host is lovely and full of useful ideas for exploring the area. The rooms are charming and tastefully decorated, though the shower in the Grey room is a bit cramped. Breakfast was great too.

The game library came in handy for a break between outings, and it even had the original English version of Cluedo 😊. We were in the Hastiere region for a family birthday weekend, and our host shared great tips for discovering the area. The escape game for five was just what we hoped for, with Lily helping only as much as needed as we worked together toward the goal. Breakfast the next morning was excellent and made to our wishes. A really nice family stay.
