Au Manoir Des Vallees B&B

The breakfast was the only okay part, and even that was very basic and mediocre. The room itself was mediocre, and it wasn’t clean: spider webs, hairs including pubic hairs in the bathroom, and a sticky floor. Our socks were disgusting after just a few hours. Since we had a baby who could sit on the floor, we used a towel to clean it and the towel turned black. When we politely asked the older woman and man running the accommodation to clean the floors the next day, they got angry. The woman said we could’ve used the towel to clean the bottom of our shoes. I then wet a clean towel and wiped the floor in the other room, with the same black result. They told us to call booking and the manager, then left angrily. We did call, but Booking was useless and didn’t refund the night we didn’t stay. The people running the place came across as bitter, stressed and unfriendly toward customers. The common area with the pool table smelled of cigarettes, and there’s no coffee machine in the room despite the listing saying there is. I’d give fewer stars if I could. Don’t go here.
