B&B La ferme de Berwausault

We stayed for six days. The owners were polite and very friendly, and gave us tips on places to visit. They spoke good English, there was plenty of parking, and we could buy beer or Coca-Cola from a fridge by the living room for a small charge, or keep our own drinks there. Breakfast was served at one big shared table, which made it possible to chat with other guests, and we could choose between 07:30 and 09:00. There were too many basic things missing, though. The room had been poorly dusted and cleaned, with spider webs around and visible dust, especially in the bathroom and toilet. We each had one large and one small towel, but after using them daily and leaving them on the floor, we didn't get fresh ones until day three. We'd brought our own, luckily. I'd expect towels to be replaced daily at a place like this, and I've never stayed somewhere that fell short of this basic standard before. The bed wasn't tidied once, and the sheets weren't changed during our stay. They smelled odd from the day we arrived. The free Wi-Fi in the top floor Mountain Room was unreliable, sometimes dropping out completely. There were also lots of bugs around the B&B, especially mosquitoes. The top floor rooms got very hot, but we couldn't keep the windows open for cooler air because of the mosquitoes. I ended up covered in bites. One of us didn't have a blanket of their own, either. There was just one trash can in the whole hotel room, and it wasn't emptied for days.
