The room had a great view, and there was even free charging for electric cars. Beautiful hotel in a gorgeous setting, 10/10.

The room was modern and had a lovely view that added to our stay. We also ate very well, with dishes that were both delicious and beautifully presented. Service was friendly, efficient, and good, and breakfast was varied and delicious too. I’d highly recommend this place.

We were on the ground floor and, as far as we could tell, the hotel's only guests. They could easily have put us upstairs, where it might have been quieter. If we'd known events were taking place right beside the rooms when we booked, we would have politely turned the stay down. Every evening, events in the hall next door kept us awake well past midnight, and no one made an effort to keep the connecting door shut. The soundproofing between the hotel rooms and event space is appalling, so none of the peace and quiet advertised on the website remained. The welcome at reception was cold and seemed focused on getting us dealt with quickly. We didn't see anyone at reception again during our three-night stay. Breakfast was served in the event hall, which looked untidy after the late-night celebrations. They put breakfast on your table and then leave you to manage on your own. The owners' impersonal treatment was consistent, at least. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone looking for the peace and warmth of the Ardennes.
