Absolutely gorgeous.

The setting is wonderful, and we had a lovely family weekend here, as part of our annual tradition. I’d recommend the place, but the holiday home could use a few small renovations. Some wheels were missing from the dishwasher’s plate drawer, and a bathroom vanity was leaning forward. They seem minor, but they did affect our comfort. We were booked until 10:00 AM on Monday, but the Slovakian cleaning crew arrived at 8:00 AM while we were about to have a nice breakfast and wrap up the weekend. They had no face masks and mingled with us, which spoiled the atmosphere. It made the end feel rushed and hectic.

There’s plenty to do in the region, from hiking and cycling to sightseeing, and this beautiful holiday home is in a lovely spot. Every room has its own history and story. Outside, there’s an outdoor sauna, a swimming pond, and lots of greenery, everything you need to unwind.
