Ariosa

It’s a beautiful setting and the welcome was very warm, but the room was dirty and had a lot of spiders. There was no hot water for the shower, no bin in the room, and a constant sewage smell. The TV in the TV room was broken, and loud music from the pub next door went on until late at night.

We had two wonderful nights here, and the people running the hotel are lovely. If you like horses, you’ll feel at home. Just keep in mind they’re living creatures and can make themselves heard at night.

There are plenty of horses here, since it’s also an equestrian club, which makes the place quite interesting. The hotel is on the outskirts of Brussels, close to the train station, so getting to the city center is convenient. It’s inexpensive, though the rooms are a little small and there aren’t many restaurants nearby.

The views are good, and the rooms are medium-sized with the shower inside. Airosa is very much an equestrian place, well located about half an hour from central Brussels. There are lots of horses around if you like them, and you might even get the chance to ride one.
