A lovely B&B with a friendly hostess. The bed was wonderfully soft, and the spacious bathroom had all the amenities. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of variety.

It’s within walking distance of Houffalize center, and the surroundings are beautiful and peaceful for walks. The breakfast was a letdown, though: pre-baked rolls, cheap charcuterie, and the same boiled egg for three days, despite the delicious Ardennes specialties available, like bread, salami, and cheese. There was constant heat-pump noise, translucent curtains, and nowhere to put things in the bathroom. The sauna cost an extra 15 euros for one use, which felt very expensive on top of 96 euros a night.

A small B&B in a very quiet spot on the Ourte, just a five-minute walk from the center. Highly recommend it for a weekend.

The stay was really nice and well maintained, with friendly people and a great location. We even spotted wild raccoons nearby :)
