We came to cycle around the area, and Hotel Des Postes ended up being a highlight of the trip. The welcome, the food and the people were all wonderful. The menu alone makes me want to stay a few more nights.

The location is lovely and peaceful, the staff are friendly, and breakfast was delicious. Our room was comfortable and warmly heated, and I really liked the shower. Beer fans will also enjoy the local "Madam Duss".

We were six friends, and we'd all be happy to come back. The food was the highlight, with a varied menu prepared with real skill. Book ahead, since locals clearly like it too. Breakfast was excellent, with homemade jams, yoghurt and plenty of choices. The clean, comfortable room had a recently refurbished bathroom and a very good walk-in shower. All the rooms are upstairs, with no lift. The hotel is a short walk from the centre of Houffalize and makes a great base for exploring the area. There was ample free parking just a few yards away.

We had a comfortable room and received outstanding service. It's a cozy place in a very convenient location. Highly recommend!

The breakfast and restaurant were good, though expensive, with menus at 45 and 55€. Our “comfort” room had good beds but was small, and the bathroom felt old and worn. The shower was tiny, only suitable for someone up to about 160cm, and had a hand shower instead of a shower head. At 140€ including breakfast, it didn't feel worth the price.
