I spent a lot of my childhood here. It was my holiday place, and my parents sent me for two weeks pretty much every year to learn how to look after horses and ride them. I learned to ride here, and I'm very emotionally attached to the place. I hope the owners are well. I moved away from Belgium and haven't been back in almost 12 years, but my mind often goes back to all those memories 🥹. I hope to return someday. I also hope they're still running the two-week riding seminars, where you pay to stay and they teach you to care for and ride horses. Excellent place, with amazing people and experiences. It's a must!

It’s a great place to unwind and reconnect with a rustic feel. The country setting has an equestrian theme and plenty of halls and spaces, and the restaurant is truly one of a kind. You wouldn’t guess the food was that good just passing by on the road.

The breakfast was good, and there’s free parking right outside. There’s also a horse riding arena behind the building. The restaurant looked appealing, but it closed at 8:30. The place itself is a very old country building, which is probably part of its charm, though it may not suit everyone.

We had a really good evening meal, and breakfast was a generous buffet. The room was clean and thoughtfully laid out, and everyone was so friendly. It’s in a great location too. We’ll definitely be back soon.

The owner told me they were fully booked when I arrived today, even though I’d booked a room through Hotels.com using a link I found below and had received confirmation. When I asked why they confirmed the booking without a room for me, he said it wasn’t his problem and told me to leave. A horrible experience.
