La Clochette

The baby lobster salad and chateaubriand were the best part of our road trip, and the fresh lobster was great. La Clochette, lovely to meet you! The owner was friendly and helpful. The village is tiny and beautiful, just right for relaxing and going for a walk. Our room was spacious, there’s no air conditioning, and guest parking is free. Thank you!

We barely missed the Wi-Fi, since sitting on the terrace with a good bottle of wine and listening to the birds was much nicer. It’s a lovely little roadside hotel in a pretty, quiet village. Everything was clean, modern, and well looked after, while still feeling cozy and full of vintage charm. The food was excellent, and the staff were warm and helpful, even though English isn’t their strong point. We’ll definitely be back!

The food was incredible, especially the Chateaubriand, which was the best I’ve had despite trying it at plenty of other restaurants. We only needed somewhere for the night and found this hidden gem by chance. The desserts were great too, and the service was lovely. There was a language barrier, but they did their best, and that’s what counts. I’d make the hour’s drive to come back. Highly recommend.

The beef was cooked just right, and the desserts were sublime. We had comfortable rooms too, but the food was the real highlight of this hidden gem. Couldn’t recommend it more.
