We got €85 of our €135 deposit back, and the owner said the remaining amount would cover utilities. I don't believe two nights of heating, hot water, and electricity came to €50. I emailed again about it and got no reply. The owner stole it. My girlfriend and I stayed for two nights. We had to transfer the full amount in advance, but couldn't check in until around 7:00 PM. We left the house clean and tidy. The deposit was supposed to be returned within two weeks, but after two weeks at home it still hadn't arrived. I emailed, waited a week with no response, then called. The owner said the transfer would take longer that month and told us to email if it hadn't arrived four weeks after our stay. It still hadn't, and another email went unanswered for two weeks. By then we were fed up and said we'd contact the local police if the deposit wasn't returned. Things suddenly moved fast, and we got €85 back within two days. If you're thinking of staying here, I'd keep the deposit as low as possible and ask the owner for proof of payment. Otherwise, you could lose some of it to utilities and spend six weeks chasing the money.
