The stove was already lit when we got there, which was a lovely touch. We spent Christmas here with two adults and two children, and the cozy cottage had everything we needed. The owners were very friendly and open to discussing anything. Shops are all walkable, including Delhaize, the bakery, butcher, chip shop, pharmacy, and ATM. It's also a great base for walks and other activities nearby.

We were greeted warmly by two very friendly owners, who even let us check in earlier than our contract allowed. Thanks, Thierry! The cottage is cozy and full of character. Shops are close by, including a bakery, butcher, pharmacy, chip shop with excellent fresh fries, and Colruyt. The Gileppe, Signal de Botrange, and Baraque Michel are also conveniently nearby, with beautiful walking routes around.

The Côté Fagnes gîte has a huge amount of information about hikes and things to do in the region. There are also games for kids from 0 to 77, and plenty of DVDs to pick from for a night on the sofa. The kitchen has all sorts of useful gear for making your favorite recipes, from a potato masher to a salad spinner, and nearby shops are within walking distance, so shopping is easy. For a bit of old-school fun, there's a stereo ready for your old vacation CD mix. You can read by the fire with the firewood and library available, including "Strange Facts and Extraordinary Tales," which feels very 90s, lol. You can even see the church steeple from the courtyard. The furniture and appliances are decent too. That's a taste of what awaits when you walk in. Have a wonderful adventure!

It's a really cute little house, though I found it a bit tight for six people. I stayed there with just two. The spot is close to lots of lovely hiking trails, and it was great for a winter barbecue!
