The welcome was lovely and attentive, and our room was comfortable and cosy. We had a wonderful time as a couple. Breakfast was generous, with fresh produce, and the location was perfect and quiet. We would have happily stayed longer if we hadn't been expected in Amsterdam. I'll definitely return in spring for a longer visit. Superb address...

The very good breakfast, friendly host and excellent location earned the hotel two stars from me. The location is perfect, and the hotel looks cosy, but it has fewer than 10 smallish rooms that feel a bit dated. We booked because of the good reviews and attractive photos. Reception was friendly, though a bit awkward. We wanted an aperitif in the garden, but the terrace was closed, and the swimspa there was out of order. Those two things ruined our romantic getaway. The bed was another disappointment, a torture device that badly needs replacing. I also couldn't block out the morning light, so we didn't sleep well. Two stars lost for the awful bed and closed facilities.

A locally owned B&B in an excellent spot, right next to the center.
