Royal 201 Seafront Apartment in a top Location

A very nice place, and all the male servers greeted us warmly. We only had hot chocolate and coffee, and tried to be as polite as possible. As Germans, we always try to speak English and not take too long ordering. Still, one of the Asian looking waitresses was unfriendly for no reason and nearly threw the coffee onto the table.

The interior is beautiful, and I recommend choosing a window seat if you can for the lovely view. The food was really good, nothing I tried tasted bad, and the service was polite and on time.

We waited from 8:15 PM until 9:15 PM with our children aged 5 and 2.5 years and still couldn't place an order, so we left because it was too late for the kids. It used to be our favorite restaurant for 40 years, but yesterday was unbelievable. There was nobody to take our order, and the waitress was rude and disdainful. The boss excused it by saying he couldn't find any staff, and was also racist toward the French community and French people from France. Or, at the exit of the city, there's a Mc do or acec the staff they even arrive with a shot to serve you in 5 minutes. So staff do exist, but with management like that, it's normal nobody agrees to work there. One star is already too much for this place.

Friendly place with a nice view, but parking is the big problem. The town clearly wants you to pay 30€ for the day, so you have to pay every 2h, and if you miss one time... It’s much better to go to France, not far away.
