The apartment is nice, which makes the downsides a pity. Breakfast was poor and cheap, cleaning isn't included, and you have to ask reception for fresh towels. There's no air conditioning, though the room is breezy. For what you get, it costs too much.

We booked through Flanders Trails for the second time and were given a studio again, with more than enough room for two. Ter Helme is still a very welcoming place, with spacious rooms. We loved the breakfast, and the restaurant food was excellent again. Highly recommended!

The setting is a lovely dune area, surrounded by nature, with a dune path right outside and the beach within walking distance. You can walk there without crowds or traffic, making it a peaceful coastal base. The rooms are new, carefully furnished, tidy and functional, with plenty of space and comfort. The restaurant is a real asset too: the food is delicious, and it's a pleasant place to sit, with room inside and on the terrace. There's spacious private parking right in front, so you don't have to hunt for a spot. Families also have an enclosed outdoor playground, which gives parents extra peace of mind. A great choice for a relaxing seaside holiday.
