The cleaning was poor throughout, and several things were in bad shape: a bedroom wall had mold, the whirlpool was dirty, and door handles came loose. The wireless networks also weren’t responsive. I wouldn’t recommend it.

We had a great family stay in this villa and loved it. We’ll be back.

Our group of 11 nurses had booked the villa for our annual reunion weekend. After we’d arrived and settled in, we were told there had been a double booking and had to leave. Thanks, Villa Horizon ☹️. Some respect for healthcare workers would have been nice.

We visited at the end of September 2025, and the smell of sewage was present in every room. Keeping the windows open seemed to be the only way to deal with it, which made the holiday unpleasant. The jacuzzi water was light green and smelled bad too, so we didn’t feel like using it. There were several small faults that left the cottage feeling neglected. The bed sizes provided were wrong, and they charged €25 to deliver a sheet set, a steep fee that wasn’t mentioned anywhere. Such a shame, but we wouldn’t come back.

It’s a really nice house, and we had good contact with the owner. If you’re arriving in several cars, watch where you park: payment is only required in front of the gate.
